Company Note 001
DEVOWER Begins
DEVOWER is being formed to develop the infrastructure that sustained operations beyond Earth will require. The company begins with propulsion, spacecraft architecture, planetary infrastructure, resource systems, and engineering decisions that can be challenged.
Current Work
The first engineering layer
Preliminary propulsion concepts, nozzle work, spacecraft requirements, and future infrastructure architecture are taking shape. The immediate job is to convert calculations into reviewable models, establish simulation foundations, and document a defensible subsystem baseline.
Leading Hypothesis
The Great Red Spot
The Great Red Spot remains a long-term research target within a wider Jovian architecture. Before energy collection can be evaluated seriously, DEVOWER must understand the environment, establish the supporting transportation and Ganymede infrastructure, and define a survivable collection mechanism.
Company Formation
From concept to corporation
DEVOWER is targeting formal incorporation around September 2026. The company is also beginning the search for grants, early technical partners, and aligned funding opportunities while preparing for a potential Spring 2027 Y Combinator application.
January 2027 Target
Models before promises
By January 1, 2027, the target is to have initial digital models, CFD foundations, and a documented propulsion concept package. The schedule may move as the work becomes clearer, but the objective is concrete: replace assumptions with artifacts that can be reviewed.
